Obedience

To the friends who have prayerfully/financially supported me for London:

Hello friends. A few weeks ago, I received an e-mail telling me that I would not be going to London this fall. When I read it I was extremely surprised and frustrated. The next four months of my life were planned, and now it was just taken away. I wanted to blame people and point fingers, but an encouraging e-mail pushed me to not. The Lord knew this was going to happen WAY before I did. I believe that my Savior has such a mighty plan and that I need to be faithful and obedient and follow. I know what your are thinking, what the heck?! But I have to keep saying to myself that God is bigger than I am. He has such an incredible story in front of me that I have to be ready for it. I have a feeling that this fall is going to be crazy.

I wanted to inform everyone because I was so excited for this opportunity that I seemed to have told every person I ran into.

Currently I am settling down in Lewes, DE and will reside here until the Lord moves me. (I don’t see it coming, but you never know!) To update you on my life, I am going to WyldLife camp (which is a camp for 6-8 graders and it gives them the opportunity to hear the gospel) August 7-11. These 5 days will be absolute insanity, but I am so thankful for the chance to share the Lord with such young hearts. After praying about it tremendously, I will begin leading YoungLife in the fall down here and also have been searching for a few legit, adult jobs. I am very unaware of what life will look like soon, but I am ready to take it on.

After reading this, if you feel moved to pray for my life please pray that I would follow God and not man. I want to be used in this world to be passionate, bold, and obedient like Christ. Pray for my life and all of the changes for this fall. I am about to begin the next chapter of my life and it needs to be not centered on myself. I don’t ever want to be the same.

I know that a bunch of you were supporting me to go to London and gave generously at my graduation party. I do not want to abuse your giving, so if you would like to see your money used elsewhere, please message me and I would love to do something great with it.

Thank you everyone for loving me incredibly and supporting me in this journey we call life. I look forward to the future adventures my God has for me.

Much love,

Meghan Walter
